It is with great sadness that we announce that Hanshi Mick Randall MBE 9th Dan Shotokan Karate and Chief Instructor of SHOTO, died earlier this week.
In recognition of 40 years dedicated training each for both Sensei Anthony Kilcullen 7th Dan and Sensei Roy Banton 7th Dan, SHOTO held a one off training event.
Pictured with Hanshi Mick Randall MBE at a celebratory meal. Roy started training with Hanshi Randall 39 years ago at the Islington School of Karate (known as Sobell Club) and continues to train regularly and teach at North London Club.
In recognition of 40 years dedicated training each for both Sensei Anthony Kilcullen 7th Dan and Sensei Roy Banton 7th Dan, SHOTO is pleased to announce a one off training event. This event is for adults only and counts as two lessons towards your next kyu grading.

Hanshi Mick Randall, 9th dan was honoured for his long and exemplary services to Karate, by being presented with an MBE in the Queen’s Brithday Honours.
